Bedford Township:

Abides by the Monroe Animal Control Ordinance that requires dogs to be on a leash at all times when off the owner's property.
Requires a dog license which can be purchased by mail through the County.
Enforces a Door to Door Ordinance. Peddlers must present a permit at all times.
Enforces a Sign Ordinance that has specific requirements for signs in all zonings.
Does not have Community Wide Trash Collection; it is done through individual contracts.
Works with the County to provide recycling pick up at different locations monthly.
Building, Mechanical and Electrical permits are issued at the Township Hall and required for most construction and additions.
